I'm hoping to make it there flying my Escape with my Graphite as backup (if I can get the 2.4ghz whiskers installed by then).

Got the 'whisker's installed on my graphite and the range check is way above the recommended so that gives me my back up.
What time is the pilots meeting?

No CD, no contest? Great spirit we have here, ain't it? After having done one electric contest, I don't understand what's the big deal. The CD says when and how long and then writes down some scores. Maybe it's the higher math required thats scaring candidates off? Do we have a full schedule of all he proposed contests? Dave

full list of contests are on the club calendar here.. www.lisf.org/calendar/Calendar.htmlsimply click "agenda" and scroll down to see it in list form. the CD is the guy who calls the contest.. determines if the contest is happening.. determines the tasks and rules... basically the leader of the pack.. it would be nice for someone to be the pointman (CD) here on the forums to let the other members know if the contest is happening, what the tasks are and so forth.. of course this would help more if more members used the forum... .. so having a cd post info for the contests would greatly improve use of these forums... hint hint...

I was really hoping for a huge turnout for the first contest. It's supposed to be a great day. Maybe we can get two winches going!!

April 5th is Palm Sunday. We going to the 8am service so the earliest we can be there is 10. If the pilot meeting is going to be earlier, let me know so I can skip it this time around and not kill myself trying to get there.
